This last week has been soooo busy, I've just not had time to blog. And if you look at the time...yes I am up blogging at 8am! The only time I have to sit and surf is while I have my morning cup of tea lol.
So what have I been up to? Largely uni and uni work. Friday was a directed study day and I altough I worked all day, I didn't get as much done as I wanted. Lectures/practicals/tutorials so far this week have gone well. A lot of information to take in though. I wish as I was quicker at work, I'm still really slow. But never mind...I will get there in the end I guess....yeh I'm kinda worried about the whole thing.
Saturday I went to the cinema with Stephen *waves to Stephen* I needed a break from uni stuff (plus I had BOGOF ticket
) We saw 1408...it was...interesting lol. The basic idea of the plot was good....but at times it became so random it was funny! I got a bit scared in a few bits, as I am a chicken. Still it was nice to catch a movie and chill a bit.
Oooo yeh I meant to say I weighed on Friday. And I have lost another 2.5Ilbs!! Woooo!! That means I have lost 17.5Ibs in 9 weeks! I'm pretty chuffed hehe.
I went to CU (Christian Union) for the first time on Monday night. It was awesome. I really enjoyed it. And the guy who spoke to us was really good, he had a kind of random sense of humor like I do! His talk was based around part of the Sermon on the Mount, focusing on the fact we need to be lights for God and that Christianity is the salt of this world (i.e makes life much better - after al, what are chips without salt!!) He came out with a cracker of a quote "I don't take ectascy, I take eternity!" Reffering to wafers we take at communion as our "eternity". Made a lot of good points about relationships and how we are all looking for that human touch. Gah I've probably explained all that really badly, but never mind.
They asked at the end of CU if anyone musical was interested in getting involved and I have volunteered!! I know I'm crazy busy with uni, but it's not really a big committment. Plus I felt it was important to be putting my music to the praise of God! And I have really missed playing clarinet, it would be good to get back to it.
I believe I have covered everything of importance *thinks* yeh I reckon so lol. I'm off to do a practical on massage shortly, which will be good as I love doing massage
